Jim Mills knows how to build great homes. Growing up in the Park Cities he graduated from Highland Park High School in 1982 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from the Cox School of Business at SMU. Soon after, he began his career in commercial real estate, working in marketing, development, and finance. Jim also served as Vice President of a major home service company in the Dallas area. Seeking a new opportunity to utilize his professional experience, Jim established Mills Custom Homes in 2002. Employing his knowledge of the Park Cities and North Dallas housing markets, his decades of real estate experience, and his impressive customer service skills, Mills built Mills Custom Homes into a well respected luxury home building company. Jim’s ethical standards have earned him a staunch reputation of integrity and honesty. Jim, acting as your executive manager and trusted liaison, will oversee every aspect of the home building process, including bidding, estimating, construction, and supplier/contractor negotiations. With almost twenty years of home building experience in the Park Cities, Mills Custom Homes has built long-lasting relationships with trusted contractors in Dallas. The company’s philosophy is to manage the building process with thorough, detailed organization. Jim effectively manages the project, suppliers, and sub-contractors, making the complex process run smoothly. The end result is the client’s dream home built at a competitive cost with the completed vision of the client, architect, and engineer.
